New Season

October 2, 2009 – 7:09 pm

It is has been a joyous past couple of months.  God has been moving in our church, Resurrection Fellowship and many are excited about His presence.  It’s all about Jesus!  I have hope and joy because I know who my Father is.  So often when I’m in town and looking at people I wonder “do they know who their Maker is?  Do they have hope like I have?”  God is up to something (isn’t He always?) and I’m anticipating His glory and outpouring all the time.  THERE IS MORE!

So, for a quick update on my life here’s what’s going on and what’s been going on the past few months.  I’m busy, busy at work (church) planning for the Women’s Advance and beginning to get things in place for the Christmas weekend.  My younger sister Hannah is engaged and we are all very excited about it.  God has brought a young man (Joel) into my life who I’m now in a relationship with and I am extrememly blessed by him.  My family is doing good… busy as always.  My mom has been harvesting her garden and our home is filled with pumpkins, tomatoes, apples, peppers etc… The smell of fall is in the air and I’m loving it!  It’s Pumpkin Spice Latte season and that’s exciting! :)  I’ve joined a book club and our first read was Persuasion by Jane Austen.  I’m dancing again!  Along with pomegranate juice I now enjoy acai juice which is extremely good for you.  I’ve learned how beneficial  eating an avacado can be.  I’ve fallen more in love with Jesus!  I journied to France with my family early this summer and absolutely loved it!  I was a bridesmaid in my friend’s wedding in Florida along with my dearest friend, Chresa.  Jr high camp was AMAZING!  ETC….  I’m happy to be alive and praise God for His presence and blessings.  God is always faithful.

Blessings!

Kaitlyn I am studying blogs at the moment. Now let me see what are the labels for your blog above?
Autumn(fall),Love, Happiness.Wow the first two remind me of the greatest love poem ever written.
John Cornford wrote this beautiful poem to his sweetheart Margot Heinemann while in the throes of the Spanish civil war. That it came to pass adds immeasurably to it’s pathos and beauty.
    Huesca
    Heart of the heartless world,
Dear heart, the thought of you
Is the pain at my side,
The shadow that chills my view.
The wind rises in the evening,
    Reminds that autumn is near.
I am afraid to lose you,
I am afraid of my fear.
On the last mile to Huesca,
The last fence for our pride,
Think so kindly, dear, that I
    Sense you at my side.
And if bad luck should lay my strength
    Into the shallow grave,
    Remember all the good you can;
    Don’t forget my love
Can you imagine him sitting in the foreboding trench as he write’s under candle-light.The pain in his stomach (hunger and fear) replaced by that of his lonely heart.Knowing the inevitable that lies ahead( the last fence for our pride).John Cornford was only 21 years old.
    Awaken us now……finale
